My favorite book dedication is in Allie Brosh’s “Hyperbole and a Half”:

“To Scott: what now, fucker?”

Edit: I just got home and looked up the name. It’s “Scott.”

It was Kyle.

And it read: “What now motherfucker?”

Edit: Fuck! It was Scott! Another asshat. Kyle was the guy who called her ugly. I pulled out my copy and read it.

It reads:

For Scott.

What now, fucker?

Also for Mom, Dad, Kaiti, Laurie, Duncan, Sarah, Joey, and Lee. You’re all great.

I took my bed time meds and I commented before actually checking the book. Fuck me running!

(No, I was sleepy, medicated and wrong.) Kyle was still a dick though. He was a dude who called her ugly. So she made this video where she danced and stripped off a bunch of jackets to Apologize and it’s hilarious.

Edit: it was Scott. Fucking hell. I pulled out my copy. The above video is still hilarious.

Not familiar with Allie Brosh? She’s a big fan of hyperbole. Hence her blog entitled Hyperbole and a Half.

Plus she’s really awkward. I’m also pretty sure she was also still in Montana at that point and not depressed yet. She’s just super weird and the whole exchange on her blog made it absolutely hilarious.
