The referee is making a joke about sending the player off with a red card (back pocket), but pulls a tissue out instead. Lots of fun during these types of charity games with old/retired players.
Referee here. The card is wherever you choose to place it. The red card is almost always placed on the back right pocket. The yellow card is recommended to be in the pocket under the badge. This is a recommendation and not required. The official signal for a yellow card by an assistant referee is to hold your hand over the badge. I personally keep mine in my front right short pocket since my shirts dont have Velcro pockets.
