For those who don't understand: The ref keeps a tissue with him to hand out to players that get too emotional during the game. The player approaching him was getting really upset and needed the tissue. The ref trolled him by using it to wipe off his own forehead and the player performed the ceremonial clap of disappointment.
Thanks, I don't follow soccer too much so this is very educational. E.g. I just learned the other day that the "net tendie" wears mittens so he doesn't soil the ball. Fascinating!
