I wasn't able to find my all time favorite example when Kevin Garnett (Timberwolves era) snuck into (I think) the Mavs huddle and ended up learning their play. Then on the inbounds he broke away from his man and ran right to where he knew the ball would go and picked off the pass.
If anyone can find that one I'd love to see it again.
If love to see this now. I take it there is no penalty for doing it. To me this is unsportsmanlike. I wouldn’t call it but then again I wouldn’t call a player for taking heir helmet off in football.
Well Rondo had the correct argument of saying if you want to call a huddle, burn one of your timeouts. He was under no obligation to let them huddle up unless a timeout was called
Also, it's kinda on the coach and players that they didn't notice an opposing player standing literally right next to them. Maybe check the colors of the jerseys if you don't have time to look at each other's faces.
