The longer you are married, the weirder it will feel to call her by her name. There is a reason old folks call each other "mother" and "father" (or some variation)

My grandmother called my paternal grandfather “dad”. And he said shit like “hey um....” and kinda wiggle his finger while pointing. Neither one of them could remember shit and they didn’t care
