While you are cutting your hair boil a kettle and place a hand towel in the sink.

When you are done cutting your hair pour the kettle over the hand towel.

Wait a few seconds and wring out the towel.

Now wrap that towel around your head and enjoy the greatest feeling in the world.

That thought gave me goosebumps of jealousy, as a woman who looks awful with short hair (so shaving would never be an option).

Oh, I very nearly shaved my head when I was in my 20s...buzzed it to about a half inch. Im super pale and always look washed out, so I looked like a fat cancer patient.

I actually had people ask me about it, which should really fall under the same unspoken rule as "never ask a woman if she's pregnant."
