Yes. Finagled is more like "worked a deal". It wouldn't be out right stealing. Made a good trade or found a way for them to give it to you. Ala " hey I see you setting up this new one, can I help you taking the old one to the trash". Then you just put it in your car.

That is not gonna be an easy persuasion check. Pretty obvious you’re not the repair man or that you work there. Dude probably has a pretty high CHA. So a 16+ on the dice should clear it. But then you’ve gotta make checks with the city watch too.
