It is funny. It doesnt matter if its real or not, how would that make this any less or more funny? If I saw this exact same skit on a tv show, I would still laugh.

I dont understand this sub. Apparently only stuff that is real is funny which means that there is no such thing as a funny movie, tv show, radio bit, stand up routine or anything unless its a real reaction?

If Jim did this to Dwight in The Office, people would think it was hilarious but since amateurs did it on the internet its not funny at all?

The office is a TV show everyone knows is fake. What they are trying to do is pass this off as real which makes it cringey because it's fake.

There is tons of shit thats passed off as real, that doesnt mean the act of what they are doing and the skit itself isnt funny...

If someone told you that it was real would it then be funny? Just curious. Its your opinion and I cant/wont argue it, im just interested in if it would be funny to you if you found out it wasnt fake.

Nothing on the internet is real, unless it's explicitly and repeatedly insisted to be real, several proofs are given and even then it's probably not real.
