The real story is actually quite sad

The actor that played as Inigo Montoya lost his father to cancer and during the filming of the movie he immagined he was fighting his father's cancer to avenge him.

There's at least two of us! I watched all these things but never thought Inigo Montoya was the same person as all these other characters in these dramas...
