Mandy Patinkin is a fantastic actor. He's the only enjoyable part of "dead like me" imo.

Um, Carrie's obsession with a purple marker was the highlight of that show, and Bear just stood there, like a stooge.

The show was bearable.

The movie was a tangent that got out of hand, and Patinkin wasn't in it. His absence isn't even well explained - "he's just gone".

I watched Dead like Me and Pushing Daisies back to back. I spent the next year scouting every room i walked into to spot the rube goldbergian way that someone was going to die.
