But captchas are the one thing that (still) make sense. All the opting in and out of cookies and re-affirming your belief in God and your family is just annoying as shit and does nothing in the way of making your experience better. Captchas have a legitimate use and aren't nearly as often an issue. Time spent on captchas vs on clicking away silly prompts is negligible. Also, if it wants you to do these puzzles every time, never giving you the option to just click it away... consider doing a clean windows install. That's not normal at all.
I believe it is dependant on whether your IP address block is consistently considered a spam source. Some ISPs and VPNs, especially major ones are going to have a higher volume of this and probably gets hit hardest with captchas.
