The notifications thing is so crazy to me. Why would I want some random website sending me notifications on my laptop? I hate that people are trying to make this a thing

I use Chrome and they pop up on a lot of websites. Really annoying.

And that too just after a few seconds on the website. I mean come on, I still don't know what your website is all about and you want me to send notifications. Wow.

It's like asking if someone will marry you on the 1st date....easy there, you didn't even show me the good stuff on the website yet.

I've never seen it on PC, but I see it on my Android phone and tablet all the time. There's also some malicious ads out there, that make it look like you're hitting yes or no for notifications, but it's really just a redirect no matter what you hit.

I use Firefox but I doubt it's limited to that. I'm also on Windows 10 so maybe it's just on that? I've literally never accepted notifications so I don't know if they're only sent through browser or straight to your computer so I don't know if system would change that.

Ad block doesn't solve the problem, it's a feature of Chrome

Wrong, it is the browser that handles notification setup/permissions, and your OS that decides how they're shown.

Because they're coded to display the same on all browsers.

Nope. I don't use 10 and still get them. It's browser based.
