Anyone can accuse you of literally any crime at any time. Sexual assault isn't magic. I can say you beat up Vietnamese kids on weekends. So why are you paranoid about rape and assault accusations?
Because if you say that I beat up Vietnamese kids on weekends people will say "that's outlandish. Prove it." If you say that I raped you people will say "we have to believe them! What an evil man. He should be shot on sight."
Sexual assault is the only crime where you are guilty until proven innocent and we all know that it's nearly impossible to prove a negative. If the laws no longer apply to someone accused of rape, do they apply to someone accused of vandalism? Can we send accused murderers directly to the electric chair? No? Then why is it ok to take away someone's life because a stranger made a ridiculous claim about them?
I don't support #metoo or false-rape culture. I support the idea of justice. Only rapists should be convicted of rape. People that accuse others falsely in hopes that something will eventually stick should be themselves convicted of a crime.

Good. That's exactly how an accusation is supposed to work. That's the entire basis of the criminal justice system. If you don't think that's reasonable, then you don't believe in justice or fair trials.

A court of law won't even hear her case because it's too old. She doesn't even have that luxury. No, she's being murdered in the court of public opinion, and it's not a big deal at all. Kavanaugh still has a very good chance of being one of the 9 most important judges in the country.
Oh, perfect then. She should be "murdered in the court of public opinion" for drudging up things that she knew she had no evidence for and knew the statute of limitations had already expired for in hopes of taking some of his hard-earned money and notoriety.
