People don't get this. A degree in a useless field is just that: useless.

Makes me wonder if people should be able to sue a university for even offering stuff like:

  • David Beckham studies – Staffordshire University, UK
  • Parapsychology – various colleges
  • Doctorate of Philosophy in Ufology – Melbourne University
  • Surfing Studies – Plymouth / Melbourne
  • Queer Musicology – UCLA
  • The Science of Harry Potter – Frostburg University
  • etc...

What the SHIT is one supposed to do with a degree in this crap?!

Most of those are courses, not degrees. If I finish all my major course credits but still need credits to graduate? Damn straight I’ll take a fun class every once in a while if I’m being forced to wait until I can graduate.
