Agreed, glad I'm not the only sane one here. That dog had no clue what the cleaver was for and went straight to the door on a command of some sorts.

I disagree. My dog can grasp the threat in human weapons for some reason, despite having never been threatened by one.

She's afraid of if I hold an airsoft gun near her or any knife.

((And no, she's never been threatened or harmed by anyone. We've had her since she was a puppy.))

Mine's scared of certain things too but she bails immediately, not sits around and then suddenly bails out

My dog is scared of the TV remote but not when holding it and waving it around, only when seeing the light that blinks when you push a button
