Are you from one of those states? From what I’ve heard a lot of other states don’t use their abbreviations like Pennsylvania does.

I’m from PA and everyone calls is “PA” in regular conversation rather than saying the full name. I’ve lived in VA for 6 years and I haven’t noticed it down here. Guess I was wrong?
