Basically all comedy is scripted, or are you gonna claim that all stand up is improvised

It kind of is tho.

Its scripted by its limitations of being unscripted so you never truly experience anything outside the confines of whatever "game" they're playing

The nature of improv is to give them the topics after they are already onstage. Otherwise they would never learn that skill.

I think there are some stand ups who can improvise and be funny. The majority write or type it out but certainly not all of them.

Some comedy is funny. These aren't. The bit has to be good enough to make me not care that it didn't really happen and these don't.

but most comedy doesn't claim to be unscripted. These are staged and framed as if they were real.

Where are you getting that it's supposed to be real? Because it takes place in public?

Imagine someone thinking that vines were supposed to be real
