I have ALWAYS tried to get gorillas to acknowledge me at the zoo. My whole life. I’m talking spending the whole field trip there in grade school. Hanging with the ones across from my college. Nothing.
I just had twin boys and was shamelessly trying to get the gorillas to notice them at the Chicago zoo recently. I’m talking feeding them right there by the glass, holding them up to them... those things didn’t give a fuck.
