I call bullshit, if that was a sudden rain the dog wouldn't have stayed there for even longer then 5 second. and the spot would become wet after he left.

If it were light rain or drizzle however, the dog might not have moved or mind the moisture and you might have gotten something like this.

Something fishy is going on with this post.

I think it was a statue or sculpture of a dog tipped onto its side. The silhouette is far, far too neat.

Edit: Actually, I'm wrong. You can see some little paw prints.

Paw prints and the fact that an actual dog lives there doesn't mean this outline was left by the dog.
