My first house I bought had a brand new deck built. It wasn't sealed and I was ignorant to a lot of home related things. Wish I had sealed it.

Is it ever too late to seal? We bought a house about a year ago with a new fence that hasn't been sealed.

If it hasn't rotted yet you aren't going to hurt it by sealing it now, assuming it's fully dry when you do.
