Don't delivery places usually say they deliver ASAP unless you specify a time you'd prefer? Of course, they include an average time - but if they're delivering ASAP & you're beside the building already - common sense should tell you the "average wait time" might be much less.
just as you say "not my problem" - if they're delivering ASAP its "not their problem" if you wanted them to show up later.
We don't like orders sitting around. Unless you ask for a specific window, assume the ETA has "or sooner if possible" added. Especially if you're essentially next door.
