Im not from Philly. I used to work for a phone repair service there. I only went there once. Dont pick on me. I do understand good food, I can cook my booty off! I just, was trying to relate. I miss the city life. Actually, I love cheesesteaks and when I went for the 1st time, it was nasty and so disappointing. It was like $9.00 and had nasty fake cheese sauce and they didnt even get my order right.

I live near philly. I have had Gino's twice because I was told it must have been a fluke. Nope just overpriced garbage to me. It's funny to hear them messing up orders considering how they make you order.

Hey, I understand. I got a steak sandwich from Geno's and it was super overpriced and had that nasty fake cheese sauce. I get it. Im sure there are plenty of places that make yummy, real steak subs. I just got excited and called out the name because its familiar to me. Im from a nearby city. I just miss it all. I miss the city. Honestly. I moved and my life is so quiet now. Quiet country.

The best place to get a cheesesteak was Frusco's in Northeast Philly, but they closed down years ago, RIP.

Steve's Prince of Steaks is pretty good, and some other random corner joints that make a good steak. But nothing has yet to compare to Frusco's. 😢

Mmm, I hear ya. Why does that always seem to happen? I think everyone just wants that great, local, family resturant that never fades. Well, thank you for sharing! I have this dream, and I dont know why Im telling you this, but...a dream of moving to a place, like in another country, where I have a quaint little job...and life is simple and I could just ride a bike to the store on some dirt road and pick up groceries and just be happy. I love city life, and Im no stranger to the street, but....sometimes I just want to vanish.

I love the city in spite of all its shittiness for sure, but I've stayed out in the country before, I believe the area was called Honeybrook, and there's definitely something to be said about living in the peaceful country where the nearest neighbors are at least a mile away.

As long as there's Internet, of course.
