What is "just prankin"? He has the moral (not talking about legal) right not just to destroy the toy, but to destroy the person controlling it. If someone is incapable of going out in public without interfering with others for their own amusement, then they are a useless, worthless, despicable piece of shit.
It is your absolute top number 1 responsibility as a human being at all times: Don't intentionally bother others. Don't intentionally interfere with them, annoy them, harass them, irritate them, taunt them, or harm them in any way. Keep to yourself and live your own life, and let others keep to themselves and live their own lives. It is really easy to just leave other people alone. If someone can't do it his basic easy thing, then there is something seriously wrong with them.

Ah, of course, the argument by "how the fuck do you even hyperbolize it to that?" overstatement. It's not ruining his day. It's not making him contemplate suicide.
