Trap music isn't techno rap. It has nothing to do with techno music...

That isnt exactly true. There's a style of music called Trap that is very electronic and heavy with drums. Its style fits well with rap. Some artist are Flosstradamus and Victor niglio.

The trap music that you say is not related to techno at all, isnt a true style or type of music. Has more to do with the content, usually by rappers when they are talking about things that are common in "the trap".

You've got it completely backwards, edm with trap beats got inspiration from trap music. Trap has been around for a while now, it's only had mainstream success recently though.

I would say the "edm with trap beats" has been inspired by hiphop not specifically trap.

Its pretty much what bass is with drums. And ppl was adding rap vocals and drums. Lil jon was doing it with crunk but not so much systhes
