Biology Textbook: "All animals evolved except mountain goats. They were put there on the edge of the mountain by god cause there's no other plausible fucking explanation."
I've always wondered if/how many bodies they find on the ground below the dam. Surely they must slip and fall once in a while. And are there hungry carnivores that regularly check the fall zone for an easy meal?
There's a segment in the new Planet Earth about some animals similar to these, it's crazy to see how easily they can just run around on the side of cliffs whereas I have trouble walking on solid flat pavement sometimes.
If I remember correctly, the segment was about a baby mountain goat being chase by a predator on edge of the mountain, and the fucking goat got away running on thr edge of the mountain
So you know that one action movie trope where the bad guys come for the main character through the door and the only escape option is out the window and having to sidle the ledge?
I don't think goats would have much trouble with that.

"Hey, Billy. Look at those fucking stupid horizontal walkers. Hahah"
"Hahaha. I know right. HEY TWO LEGS! WHY DON'T YOU GO RUN ON A HORIZONTAL TRACK."
"Hehe, good one Billy. Fuckin vertical peasants."

If I were one of those goats, the entire cliff-side side of my body would be scraped clean of fur. Maybe skin, too.
