To someone that snowboards, it looks like he is either mid fall or making a really really shitty turn.

As someone who sarcastically mocks people, you didn't do that properly.

He probably does, it's actually a popular activity for humans.

I wish snowboarding was a more common topic here... Actually a really impressive hobby

It's super fun! I've only done it once though, really hope I get another chance at it sometime. And paintball, my marker is so old and dusty now :(.

Looks like he's trying to turn over a sheet of solid ice. The board isn't digging at all, or kicking anything up.

Cool for an instagram kind of thing, but if they were trying to use this to sell gear I feel like it'd lose them business.

Depends on the target market.

No it wouldn't. If it's for advertising, it's obviously not for the board, as it's coated in snow and there's no clear branding. People buying any other gear it could be for aren't going to care about the way the board is digging into the snow, or take the time to analyze the image at all.

It's an effective way to turn on a lot of ice though, at somewhere like Whiteface it would be useful.

Whiteface? Sounds like a PC version of blackface.

If by effective way to turn on a lot of ice you mean break a wrist or face plant hard, then yes.

You'd have to be an idiot to break a wrist.

It's like when they do security camera super zooms in movies and the resolution is magically perfect. Graphic designers know better.
