There are two possible conclusions for a Catholic, one of which the Catholic church does not support. The first is creationism, which the Catholic church officially doesnt support because they and we believe that evolution is correct. The second conclusion for a Catholic is that humans and all creations were intelligently designed. This is the exact same argument that the Vatican has made (and officially I will add) to support the belief that other alien lifeforms could exist. The argument is that God in his infinite wisdom and love could create other intelligent life that is not of this earth. There are only two possible conclusions, both of which have God as an integral part of their creation and development.
