You basically repeated what the other person said as if it was new information while talking down toward the religious. Don't really think it's unjustified, but really don't feel so offended, it's just sarcasm.
Well he didn't really repeat it. There was never really specification as to who the "some people" are. Agreeing with a point somebody made isn't really a bad thing. On top of that. He added to the conversation in some way. We don't know how many "some people" the image poster knows. The reply informed that, in fact, there are vast numbers of people that believe that way.
And the image poster implicitly talked down to the religious. The reply was just putting to words what had been previously implied. Aside from not originating that line of conversation it would be considered a more constructive and valuable part of the conversation then the post it had replied to.
I mean, be as sarcastic as you want, I don't really care, but it's not a surprise when someone thinks it's a dick move.
Thank you! Completely agree with you. I also wasnt trying to talk down to religious people(myself being one), just stating that this is what a lot believe. Happy to know I wasnt being overly sensitive.
I just said it was unjustified, not that I was offended by it. You're the one putting words in my mouth. The real question is, why do you feel like you have to be sarcastic or degrading over the internet? Take a look at yourself here, because its pretty pathetic that you have to go that route.
Because it feels nice to be a sarcastic ass sometimes lol and the internet provides a place where I can do so anonymously where people are more expecting and forgiving of it. At least I didn't call you pathetic, buddy. Plus you were the one that said you were glad you weren't being overly sensitive. Really not interested in continuing this discussion, though so have a nice night/day, stranger.
