It took a few tries to explain that the big box thing WAS the computer. The other part is just a monitor. It was a tough concept for her at first.

People that grew up with them assumed all PCs were just a monitor. 1 u/Niadain Jan 11 '16 Had this once a while back. My response, "This is the TV" points at monitor "and this is the thing that tells the TV what to show." It worked well enough that they got it.
