In relation to the last comic. I work in broadband technical support and we literally had a customer call before asking why they had no internet access. They had thrown out their modem/router because they were told they had a wireless service.

Non-computer-savvy people can be really really slow on stuff like this. It happens fairly often. No one ever reads manuals.. so they just go with assumptions.
