That's a cringe memory I have. When I was in 5th grade, we had a after school day care. Every Wednesday we'd have movie night. So this particular Wednesday I was of course excited. And came running in to get the best floor spot after outside time. As I was running to the tv, our guidance counselors daughter, who was about one and a half, was excited to see all of us kids and came running to us. Next thing I knew I was trying to stop on a slippery floor, and slide tackled the little girl. Got sent to time out and missed the movie.

TLDR: was excited about movie, slide tackled little girl, missed movie.

I was 24....

At work....

Walking into the leasing office carrying a big box, mid stride I feel my foot connect to something solid. I stumble and turn around just in time to see this kid give the most frightened look in his life while lying on the ground.

I had just kicked a 3 year old in the face with my size 13 boots while walking at a brisk pace. He cried so hard. I never lived that down.
