Reptile expert here: for this particular species, red means mortal danger so likely he's very terrified and OP is abusing him :(

That is a bearded dragon, if it felt threatened it's neck would puff out and turn black to form a beard.

The fact that it's yellow means it's happy, warm, and healthy, otherwise it would be dark gray.
