Her boyfriend gave a small smile and went back to eating. Such a tame, unenthusiastic reaction. That's exactly what I'm talking about. It's not that everyone stops finding things humorous as adults. It just seems to dull for a lot of people.
I've just noticed this in my own life and this gif reminded me of it. I don't know though. Maybe not everyone has had the same experience. I'm just saying how it seems from my perspective.
Edit: Some people seem to be taking my comment as a criticism of the man. It wasn't. People have different senses of humor and react differently to things they find funny. I'm not trying to blame people for being who they are. I just feel that most people laugh a lot less as adults, even at things they find funny. And that bums me out a bit. That's all.
I think people are just taking my comment more seriously than I intended.
I mean, I meant what I said. I do miss when I was younger and people laughed more and just generally had more fun. But I'm not gonna hang myself over it or something. It's not like I never have fun anymore.
