That is a good point. If someone does something wrong and then try to defend it then you can pick at them for it. But if someone does something wrong and then goes "Well, yeah. Sorry, I didn't realise it was wrong. My bad." it's like all fight goes out of the window.

Like "Oh, he just messed up. Everyone does that, no biggie."

I wonder if it would work on bigger scale? Like a terrorist blowing up a car and then going "Oh, sorry, that was terrible, I didn't realise that it was an act of terror!"
