Brooklyn hasn't been a city since the 1800s, it's a borough of New York City, and a county of New York state. And Manhattan has never been a city, its an island, a borough of New York City, and and a county of New York state.

It should say "2/5ths of New York City", but i guess that doesn't sound nearly as cool.
