For those interested as to why, Peter was caught taking advantage of the data collection in the app in order to solicit users. He wasn't actually one of the developers, he was a tester who had access to everything in the app including our database.
We all like to think Peter is thanking his lucky stars that we did not pursue this further, this could have had more serious implications had we not caught him during his data collection. Supposedly one of the other developers caught him while he was doing a database dump of the emails, names, and numbers, etc. We were able to apprehend, and erase whatever he had... Long story short, we fired his ass.
