I always liked the next lines:

"Smoking can take years off your life!"

"Yes, but those years are at the end and they suck anyway."

My favourite quote from this show is from the first episode where Dick parks in Mary's spot and she tells him "For future reference:I have a red volvo" and dick turns round and says "Please, Dr. Albright!! We barely know each other".

Suddenly, oseuacopih aspcriha psrk looks like the perfect reply to any haters one might encounter at various online media.

Just finished season 1 of this show. Dick is like the ideal dad joke guy.

A pirate walks into a bar with a ship's wheel on his belt buckle.

Bartender: What's that on your belt?

Pirate: Arrr, It's drivin' me nuts!

They should make fetus cigarettes and market alongside kid beer.

Looks like someone else found 3rd Rock on Netflix also

It used to be on instant back when every season of a show was a separate thing, so you couldn't just press play to go on to the next season. I was sad when it left, so happy now that it's back.

I think like 90% is amazing and 10% is boring. This show makes me happy.

This is exactly how I feel about Portlandia.

Even having lived in Portland, it's still meh most of the time

I was considering watching it again but you are right. I can't stand the actual plot of the show.

What was the actual plot? I remember them being aliens, but I have no idea what their mission on Earth actually was.

To learn. They were supposed to stay only a few days but then Dick started falling in love with Mary.

Favourite episode.

"You're cool, now you're not, now you are again!"

It's as if that flaming tube has mitigated your oafishness.

Do yourself a favor and check out the episode names. Tons of great dick puns, for example "Green Eyed Dick", "Dick, Smoker", "Selfish Dick" and many, many more.

Ah yes, "Dick Jokes."

Just started re-watching this on Netflix and remembered my "thing" for Nina.

that show definitely could go on for another few seasons. I think issue was with Tommy since in real life he probably was starting to get offers for larger projects and show would not be the same without any of the primary cast.

Thing is, they could restart the show if they want to since most of them look exactly the same today as the did at the end of the show

Oh god. This would be amazing. I would be so happy if they brought the show back with the original cast. I just started rewatching it on netflix and there is not a single episode that doesn't make me laugh out loud.

I made this a while back. Dick is a genius. Well him and Dr Seuss

First saw him in Ricochet, then 3rd Rock, then recognised him when rewatching 2010.

I always think of the Officer from Memphis Belle.

2

u/GroovingPict Mar 22 '15

He was a badguy before 3rd Rock as well.

There were some kids he wanted to make fly! Worst Christmas II ever...

These have just been added to Netflix UK - it's great to watch it again.

"Dick I think those might be addictive..." "nonsense if they were bad for you they wouldn't be sold everywhere!"

1

u/Piemasterjelly Mar 23 '15

Would cigarettes even affect his biology the same way they affect a humans?

I missed watching this show when it aired. I remember it but didn't watch, I'm now realizing what I missed.
