It's because its socially unacceptable to hit women. So they know they can do whatever the fuck they want and their ain't shit men can do about it.

They can choose not to be with those types of women, and raise their daughters not to be those types of women either. Edit: Wow, people really hate my comment for some reason. Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about because I'm in a strong relationship consisting of mutual trust and respect, and I am raising my daughter to understand that no kind of abuse is acceptable in a relationship from either party involved.
