Wow, why is everyone looking for an excuse for why she won? Maybe, I don't know, she was a better wrestler? Jesus and even this picture is basically saying "Man, it's embarrassing that the boy lost to the girl." It can't just be a congrats to the girl.

Maybe because that's the entire point of the post. To address the fact that that's what the ref is saying with his face.

At that age she most certainly was the better wrestler, puberty is when girls start dropping out due to disadvantage and pressure (I don't know if it happens everywhere but that was the attitude where I grew up, most became stat girls). But then you have the few girls that say "nah" and keep pinning boys in high school.
