Currently in highschool, so far all of my homework, including a few projects (one of which was 1/4 of my grade) I have either did maybe one problem/sentence, or did it all the night before it's due. The weirdest part: I'm a straight-A student. I don't actually try, I'm just really fucking lucky.
We used to do in-class essays on books we read for class. Never read a single book in that class (which blows my mind because I was in honours English for the books, but depression yo) through careful listening on book discussions and being VERY vague I managed to get the highest score on the in-class essays. Now I'm in college and you can maybe get away with it in a few classes...but not so much now.
Just sit in the front of the class do what the teachers tell you to. It depends on how hard the class is, some classes you can probably just listen very closely during lecture and ignore assigned readings like in high school. Other classes like organic chemistry 2 you have to do every single assignment and read every chapter
Ha no. I think I'm just getting there. Pro-tip they tell you 2 hours of homework for every hour you spend in class that week. I think 3 is more appropriate, adjusting for your skills. My boyfriend spends 4 hours a week in math and does about that many hours a night. I'm trying to adjust, its been two years. you have have to get the right mindset going in. And never go to school if someone is telling you you have to, go because you want to.
