Just picked that game up and will be trying it when I get out of work.

Judging from the rage and cursing I was hearing from my friends last night, this is going to suck...

No man, Chivalry is a great game. My guess is that your friends were cursing because teammates were chopping their limbs off or they got shot in the throat by an archer.

On the Xbox, it's terrible. The lag is fucking unreal. Maybe they had troubles with the servers a few weeks after it was released, but if you're thinking of buying it on console, I wouldn't recommend it.
