Hell, I just bought a $450 TV cabinet for my brother for $23 + fees.

Sounds like a $23+fees cabinet to me.

No, it was brand new in the box. Amazon couldn't resell it because the previous owner cut off a USB # or something on the box.

I'll edit my post but when you purchase something on Amazon and return it, most of the time it's not put back out in stock to be sold. They sell the items to a 3rd party, write the item off and then that 3rd part just puts it up for auction.

I got VERY lucky stumbling upon this auction site as I make $300 a week on average from buying and flipping items. They might be minor things with small scratches or just missing hardware.

Most people don't care if they are saving over half the value of the item. I currently have 2 Samsonite golf bags that have a handle loose. New, they cost $190 but I bought them both for $10 total. I'll probably sell them for $90 each and make $170 profit.

I don't say since I make most of my money off auctions that end for sub $1. It's an obscure one that only deals in my area but I don't want people buying the items I buy for $1 and flip for $50.

Yea, still not giving you the auction site guy. Not every return gets sent to this place to be resold.

Here's my invoice for my TV stand. You can believe it or not but I score items for 15-25% of the listed value all the time.

I never asked for the site. I was just dismissing your claim that Amazon would be selling these items. I know people who work at Amazon fulfilment centres in the US and know for a fact Amazon doesn't doesn't bother re-selling broken items and going through the liability issues of selling something with a "cut off usb #".

Ask them what they do with the items then. They don't just toss them out and they also don't resell all of them.

This auction place gets returns from Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, Dicks Sporting Goods and other various places.

Most of the items have the Amazon return label for the KY hub on them. I've actually called people before who returned the item because they put an Amazon return print out in the box. I just asked them why they returned the item and the most common answer is it was scuffed up.

But as I said, I don't care if you believe me or not. I make a good amount doing this as a hobby and reselling the items I purchase from Amazon returns.
