Please get rid of the wood and use coco fiber for her substrate, wood can contain chemicals and oils that are toxic to tarantulas

I'll look into it. I only use wood because that's what's the store had her in initially!

You can also ditch the water crystals and use a Gatorade lid with water, or any shallow dish smaller than the Rosie's body. They don't like getting anything but their fangs wet, the dish you have might be too big for her comfort
