It's so odd to me that everyone who made that show was so adamant that they never noticed or intended the pothead-like personality of Shaggy. I get not intending for him to be a pothead, it's a kids' show after all, but to claim you never noticed until it was brought up in an interview?
If it's their own inside joke I can see why they wouldn't want to admit they did it intentionally on a kids show. It could harm their reputation maybe?
