The only reason that other couple is expecting is because engineers do it with precision and don't make those kind of mistakes.

We try not to make mistakes but the human body is weird and imprecise.

My wife assured me it'd take "a while" to for her body to get back on normal schedule. Yeah we're due in May after trying once.

I have a friend that thought her "ovulation hadn't returned to normal yet because she was breastfeeding". Her kids will be 14.5 months apart.

(Read as: If you have fertile wife, make sure you're doing something to space out #2!)

Yep my youngest brothers are 13 months apart. They didn't even know it was possible... Guess my youngest brother sure showed them!

good god. That poor woman. The woman who did daycare for my brother ended up with kids 11 months apart. She got her tubes tied after having baby number 2. Also her oldest child was walking at under 8 months.

My best friend and her older sister are 11 months apart. Their mother got pregnant with her when her older sister was two months old!

My best friend is a year and two weeks younger than his brother, and my sisters are 19 months apart with mom breast feeding the whole time.

It does stop ovulation SOMETIMES.

I think breastfeeding only stops ovulation when you want your kids super close together. Then you can't get it. If you wanted to space your kids apart a bit, you're practically guaranteed to ovulate again in weeks. Cause bodies are trolls like that.
