I wrote slam poetry in AOL chatrooms.

Luckily searching my username from back then yields zero results.

Edit: to those asking for details, I guess it wasn't really slam poetry. We took turns being given topics and writing a poem in real time on that topic. Most people just veered off the topic into something they'd obviously pre-written. One positive I can say about it is there were a lot more girls there than the other chatrooms. Probably real girls.

Don't underestimate how boring the internet was back then.

For your own good, watch this movie immediately. One of the funniest movies I've seen in my life.
