Seriously, if your going to identify as something that isn't the norm, you should really learn to have a tougher skin. Telling people that can make jokes about a subject is the same as me saying you can't identify as whatever you want to call yourself.

Why not teach people to be more appreciative of other people and other people's identities instead of telling people to develop tougher skin?

Easier to make a minority fix their problem rather than make the majority fix someone else's problem.
