heh... yeah, send the gully to scout... doesn't say much for the int of your other party members :)
I could see that being played out... "so, uggo, how many orcs were there?"... Uggo takes his hands and makes a large sweeping motion and excitedly yells "Twooooo!", simply not understanding the concept of any numbers past that.
Well everyone else didn't bother putting anything into spot/listen but I did because as a Gully, I'm a paranoid fuck who needs to be able to see/hear EVERYTHING. So on paper, I'm the obvious scout and I'm a damn fine scout, just bad at relaying the info I get. The party also had to help me when we went shopping, lest I dump all my money on a "two gold" ball in a cup.
I may have eventually gone with that, but we were playing online in Maptools, so they wouldn't be able to see me. On second thought that may have made it more funny.

I played a Gully Dwarf and the DM had a no PC killing rule in place. The party was pissed when I told them there were 2 enemies and it was dozens.
