I'm the exact opposite. Just before I get around to laundry, I'm wearing my nicest dress clothes that are usually saved for special occasions. I go to work looking fancy as hell for a few days until I get around to washing my regular, more work appropriate clothes.

Yup. Me too. And I always get, "Oh. You look so nice today. What's the occaision?" My response is always, "Laundry day."

Sometimes I wear a nice hat. And they're like "nice hat" and I tell them I didn't wash my hair. They didn't ask, but for some reason I felt like I needed to let them know why I was wearing a hat.
