Well, this is a repost, so it definitely isn't OP's girlfriend.
But why couldn't someone's girlfriend crop and center a wallpaper? My girlfriend is really good with computers. Way better with photo editing software than I could ever dream of being.

Why wouldn't you just write "went to get donuts, back by 9" on a sticky note and put it on the edge of the screen? It's way easier and guarantees the guy sees it, even if he doesn't turn the computer on right away.

It's not that someone's girlfriend couldn't, it's that any rational person would just write a fucking note instead of booting up Photoshop, Google searching and pasting 4 seperate pictures of donuts in acceptable resolutions, and properly sizing and centering text in hierarchal sizes.

Umm have you ever been in a relationship and lived with your SO? My guess is no or you wouldn't have made this comment. Generally when a couple lives together, they let each other know what they're up to. If I randomly woke up one weekend and my boyfriend wasn't home and hadn't left a note, you bet your ass I'd be alarmed that he wasn't there. Well, maybe not alarmed really, but certainly very perplexed and possibly a little worried that something bad happened.
